Dusit Inya Lake Resort (HB02)

Set in 37 acres of tropical landscaped gardens with a country club, huge swimming pool and tennis courts the Inya Lake is more a resort than city hotel. About 15 minutes from the international airport and 30 minutes to downtown this is a truly tranquil setting and a great place to recharge after long flights.

Whilst the downtown area is great to visit, with its noise, traffic and pollution, it is not such a great place to stay which is why we prefer the resort atmosphere of the Inya Lake. Built in 1962, with Russian aid, this monumental neo-colonial edifice has huge rooms.

The hotel was restored in the mid-nineties. Now managed by the Dusit hotel group from Thailand.
