When booking a Pandaw Cruise you will be offered hotels in the cities you will arrive or depart from at the beginning and end of your cruise. We have rigorously inspected these properties and believe them to be of a quality and style to match the excellence of a Pandaw experience. Here is a brief list of our partners and you can click the links to see each property's own website for further details.

Burma
The Chatrium Hotel, Rangoon and the Mandalay Hill Resort
Why: the Chatrium because the rooms are finished in teak and there is a great big pool; location is excellent being close to the Colonial Downtown area and the Shwedagon Pagoda with great views across the Royal Lakes. Downside: crummy food, but expect this in all Rangoon hotels. The Mandalay Hill Resort has a great location and well away from the noise and bustle of the city center, food also dull, but you can expect nothing more when off a Pandaw!

Vietnam
The Riverside Renaissance Hotel
Why: amazing location with great views up and down the Saigon River; close to shopping and eating areas; rooms are smallish but very well fitted out with loads of extra amenities like cafetieres and local cookies. Downside: gets very busy and lifts agonisingly slow; staff are programmed like robots and too much hard sell (American managed).

Cambodia
The Victoria Angkor Resort and Spa
Why: big rooms in pleasant Frenchified style. very good food, huge pool. Downside: rather twerpy French management.

Borneo
Kuching Pullman Hotel
Why? brand new and incredibly spic and span and stylish; just next to a brilliant seafood market (over the multistory car park next door so eat there); rooms well thought out with great views from the higher levels, nice touch to put sarongs in rooms amongst a number of other fun surprises; very smart pool and bar area.  Downside: its a little too minimal and feels a bit soulless.
