Joining the Ship

Upstream in Saigon

Check-in is always at 0830 at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel where you will be met by a Representative of the Company and your luggage tagged with your cabin number for easy porterage to your cabin.  The coach leaves Renaissance Hotel at 0900 for check in at the ship 1100 followed by port and immigration formalities. The ship then sails at 1300.  Please note that we will not collect passengers from other hotels as this will lengthen the travel time for those who checked in at the right time and at the right place. We are under no obligation to look for passengers who do not check in on time. Such passengers will have to find their own way to join the ship at their own expense. The only exception to this is by prior arrangement for full charter party passengers not staying at the Renaissance Hotel.

Downstream at Siem Reap

Passengers should meet at the Victoria Resort Hotel at 1200  where you will be met by a Representative of the Company and your luggage tagged with your cabin number for easy porterage to your cabin. Passengers will transfer on our coach to the port area and in high water (Sept-Nov) will be transfered by motor boat to the ship moored close to the port or in low water (Dec-Aug) will join a speed boat for a lake crossing of approximately 4+ hours. You will be met at Siem Reap by one of our managers and cold drinks and sandwiches are provided complimentary during the crossing.

Myanmar

All passengers are met at the airport by Company Representatives and escorted to their hotels. All arrangements for embarkation and disembarkation transfers are taken care of by the company.
