Thein-gone Pre-Primary School

A similar project to Yandabo only this school is part of the village Buddhist monastery. Monasteries are the traditional schools of Burma. There are 87 kids under 3 teachers all sponsored by Pandaw Pro Bono. Our passengers sponsored the monks to build a splendid new building, erected on high stilts to avoid flooding. We also asssit with the sustenance of a number of boarders from remoter villages who are offered shelter by the monks and attend government school in Pakokku.
