After breakfast at the hotel, depart at 8:00 AM for Angkor Wat, the most celebrated temple in Cambodia and the centerpiece of the Angkor Archaeological Park. Constructed in the 12th century during the reign of King Suryavarman II, Angkor Wat was originally dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu and later became an important Buddhist sanctuary.

Explore the temple's impressive entrance causeway, concentric galleries, central sanctuary and extensive bas-relief carvings depicting scenes from Hindu mythology and ancient Khmer history. The temple's towers represent Mount Meru, the sacred center of the universe in Hindu and Buddhist cosmology. An early visit is recommended for more comfortable sightseeing and excellent photography opportunities. Visitors should wear modest clothing that covers the shoulders and knees.

At 2:00 PM, continue to Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric temples in the Angkor complex. The site is famous for its ancient stone structures covered by the roots of enormous silk-cotton and strangler-fig trees. The combination of jungle vegetation and weathered ruins creates a unique setting and provides many memorable photo opportunities.

At 3:30 PM, visit Angkor Thom, the fortified royal capital built in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. Enter the ancient city through its monumental gates and explore the Bayon Temple, recognized for its many serene smiling stone faces carved into the towers.

Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants, which was used by the king as a viewing platform for royal ceremonies and public events, and the Terrace of the Leper King, decorated with detailed sculptural reliefs. The visit also includes the remains of the royal palace area. Exploring the Bayon earlier in the afternoon is recommended, as the temple can become hot and crowded later in the day.

During the visit, learn about the center's programs and meet trainees who are developing professional skills in areas such as handicrafts, hospitality and creative industries.

The visit also provides an opportunity to see how local products are created and to understand the center's efforts to preserve Cambodian traditions while providing sustainable employment opportunities for young people and local communities.

At 10:30 AM, continue to APOPO, a humanitarian organization that trains specially selected rats, known as HeroRATs, to detect landmines and tuberculosis. At the visitor center, learn about the organization's humanitarian work and the challenges caused by landmines in Cambodia. A demonstration of the HeroRATs may be available, subject to the organization's operating schedule and local conditions.

At 12:30 PM, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, enjoy an optional visit to a rural village or participate in a local craft demonstration. Depending on availability, the experience may include an introduction to village life, traditional livelihoods, agricultural activities or Cambodian handicraft production. This visit offers a closer look at daily life outside the main tourist areas and provides opportunities to interact respectfully with local residents and artisans.

In the evening, transfer to Phare Cambodian Circus, a contemporary circus and performing arts social enterprise. Enjoy a dynamic performance combining traditional Cambodian stories, music, dance, theater, acrobatics and modern circus techniques. The program supports the education, training and social development of young Cambodian artists.
