Hue and Hoi An are two of Vietnam's scenic and historic highlights and a ‘must seex' on most people's visit to this most wonderful country. Our trip includes a fascinating ride along the Perfume River and a visit to the enormous Hue Citadel. Hoi An is best explored independently and retains a charming village feel which comes alive after sunset with the glow of red lanterns and the senses of Asia. And, of course, plenty of time to relax at your beach resort.

It is possible to extend your stay in Hoi An if required.

    Day 1

    Disembarkation - Saigon City Tour - Cu Chi tunnels

    Breakfast at ship & Lunch at local restaurant
    Your local tour guide will meet you directly at the port upon disembarkation to begin an immersive exploration of Southern Vietnam. You will drive approximately 65 kilometres (around a 1.5-hour journey) to the extraordinary Cu Chi Tunnels. En route, witness the scenic rhythms of rural life as local villagers tend to cashew nut farming, duck breeding, rice cultivation, and the traditional hand-production of rice paper. After exploring the complex underground networks built by Viet Cong guerrillas, enjoy a curated lunch at a local restaurant.In the afternoon, return to Saigon for a comprehensive architectural tour of the city's colonial heartland. You will visit the poignant War Remnants Museum, the elegant Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic General Post Office, alongside outdoor viewings of the grand Reunification Hall and City Hall. Your day concludes with a vibrant stop at the iconic Ben Thanh Market before checking into your luxury boutique accommodations.

Continue inland to tour the magnificent, sprawling tomb of former Emperor Tu Duc and explore a beautifully preserved royal garden house.

    Following a royal-style lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon is dedicated to the grand Hue Citadel. Your expert guide will lead you through the historic Noon Gate, the majestic Thai Hoa Palace, the Imperial Royal Urns, and the evocative stone ruins of the Forbidden Purple City.

    Hue To Hoi An Via The Ocean Cloud Pass

    Following breakfast, depart Hue for a scenic drive southward to the ancient merchant town of Hoi An. Your overland route crests the spectacular Ocean Clouds Pass (Hai Van Pass), offering breathtaking coastal views where mist-shrouded peaks meet the sea. You will pause to unwind along the sands of Non Nuoc Beach and enjoy a guided tour of the fascinating Cham Museum, which houses an unparalleled collection of ancient Hindu-Buddhist stone sculptures.

    Arrive in the quaint town of Hoi An in the afternoon to check into your waterfront resort.
