Draft beer on ships cuts out garbage
We have introduced draft beer on our larger vessels. Not only do these brews taste better than canned beer but we no longer have the environmental issue of disposing of the empty cans. Responsible garbage disposal in developing countries can be challenging so we are constantly trying to reduce waste.
In Burma we are offering Yoma, a pleasant light lager brewed with imported hops and the soft local water. It’s very crisp and rather welcome on a hot afternoon’s cruising.
In Cambodia the Kingdom Brewery, the largest craft brewery in South East Asia supplies us with a very pure pilsner lager and a light IPA, both of which are as good as anything you will find anywhere.
