Passenger Feedback

We were less impressed by the Purser Tim. he could not speak Vietnamese He had to be prompted to make actions which the passengers wished for - We had very poor weather with strong winds, a violent storm and very low temperatures etc and the passengers had to suggest that comfortable chairs, sofa etc needed to be moved into the warm dining Room - this was possible because there were only 18 passengers. At one stage the crew were moving all the chairs back out to the open deck and I had to speak to Tim to get the chairs moved back again There appeared to be some stress and tension between Tim and the Guide - WU and also the rest of the crewDespite these comment and the adverse weather the Pandaw experience was excellent and we shall look forward to joining you again sometime in the future

The only opportunity for improvement would be to ensure that a safety emergency kit is carried during off board excursions - we had one passenger who cut his head and another who fell - they did handle both issues efficiently but it should have been a requirement to carry a simple safety kit for such emergencies and//or accidents. Pandaw partnered with Perfect Travel for the post tour excursions and they were wonderful - we received follow up calls daily to ensure our needs were met as well as to give us information about our next destinations - who would meet us etc. Their driver Somnath stayed with us the entire time and I must admit he was the best driver we've ever had - safe, efficient, informative, on time - a wonderful customer service attitude. We truly appreciate that Pandaw has arranged with Perfect Travel to transport us to the Delhi airport for our return trip home - Pandaw has selected a terrific company with whom to partner - we'd highly recommend them anytime, as well as Pandaw - we look forward to future trip and adventures with Pandaw. Thank you.

Krish seems to be extremely well versed in Indian history but was very difficult to understand and did not seem to understand that ancient Indian history was not the top priority of the group. He speaks softly and after a short time of trying to understand what he is saying most people just seemed to tune out. When divided into two groups, after two days the group with Krish said they wanted to be back as one group (we felt lucky to have been in Deepak's group). For breakfast, potatoes and perhaps bacon on a few days would have been welcomed. All in all, I thought the cooks did a great job. We did the 6-day pre-cruise to Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur and had a wonderful time, excellent guide Sunil Bhardwaj, , and fabulous driver Mr. Singh. Also our half-day tour in Varanasi with Neelesh Sinha was great. The company you used to arrange these tours and our transfers did a very good job with everything. I do think the excursions the first couple of days on the ship could be upgraded (unless that is all there is to see in that area) and perhaps that will happen as time goes on. We had a wonderful time on our trip. We were so glad that we did the pre-cruise as it provided a nice balance of places and things that we got to see. This was our fifth Pandaw cruise and once again we came away with a great experience - Thank you. Lynda Garabedian

Reservation process I know it's beyond your control, but it took multiple tries to have my credit card (Capital One) processed. Guide and excursions. I appreciated Terry's frank and thorough knowledge, and especially glimpses of everyday life and work--visiting homes and shops. The only disappointing excursion was to the golf course. A long bumpy ride and time that I'd rather have spent exploring villages. On board. An early riser, I found it very difficult to stay awake for 9 PM activities. Could the movies be shown in the afternoons when no shore excursions are planned?Meals Food was great and plentiful, except for supper--the biggest meal for me. I could have used a bit more protein and starch then (staff accomodated me by leaving milk and cookies for me--thank you!). And thank you for 6 AM coffee!
