DAY 1

SANTA CRUZ: TRANSFER IN - HIGHLANDS - LAVA TUNNELS

Flight to Galápagos and arrival to Baltra Island Airport, where we will be received by our naturalist’s guides and will take to our first visit, the “Highlands” in SANTA CRUZ, the first point to check is the Lava Tunnels during your visit you will also enter the tunnel and continue to the “Rancho Primicias” where you can see giant tortoises in their habitat.

Return to the hotel and overnight at the selected Hotel in Santa Cruz.

DAY 2

SANTA CRUZ: NAVIGATION TO OTHER ISLAND (B,L)

Today we will go by boat to North Seymour, this island is located north from Baltra. The principal fauna species of this island are the Land and Marine Iguanas, Frigates, blue-footed boobies and sea lions. Then you will have your Lunch on board. In the afternoon we will do snorkeling in Bachas Beach, there you will see different kinds of fishes and you will swin with the see Lions, once you have finished return to Puerto Ayora and to the hotel for dinner. The daily boat trips are subject to availability, weather conditions and Galapagos National Park authorizations. Possible places to visit: Bartolomé, North Seymour, South Plazas, Isabela, Floreana and Santa Fe.

DAY 3

SANTA CRUZ: NAVIGATION TO OTHER ISLAND (B,L)

Early in the morning transfer to Baltra to take our boat to Bartolome, this day the breakfast will on board because the pickup at your hotel is at 6H00am. Bartolome is a small island, but is one of the principal attractions on the Galapagos Islands, due to its pinnacle rock. In this Island you will have a hike to the top of the island in which there is a point view, in which you can take photos and see the landscapes. In this island you can see different species of lava lizard. After the hike we will do snorkeling in one of the beaches of the areas there you will see different animals as Marine turtles, sea lions, fishes and penguins. On the afternoon you will have Lunch on board and you will return to Santa Cruz. The daily boat trips are subject to availability, weather conditions and Galapagos National Park authorizations. Possible places to visit: Bartolomé, North Seymour, South Plazas, Isabela, Floreana and Santa Fe.

DAY 4

SANTA CRUZ: TORTUGA BAY – CHARLES DARWIN STATION (B)

After breakfast, we will visit the famous “TORTUGA BAY BEACH”, which is one of the largest white sand of the archipelago, it is an excellent place for swimming and walking; marine iguanas, sharks and turtles can be seen along a small path for the visitor. In the afternoon, we will visit the CHARLES DARWIN STATION, FAUSTO LLERENA CENTER, MIGUEL CIFUENTES VISITORS CENTER, and COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER - where we can see land iguanas and the turtles breeding center. Return to the hotel and Dinner.

DAY 5

SANTA CRUZ: TRANSFER OUT (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and then you will take our transport to direct to Itabaca Channel and transfer to Baltra.

Rates include

Domestic return flights from Quito to Balta (Galapagos Islands), 4 night stay at the Cucuve Suites Hotel (or similar) on a bed and breakfast basis, lunch on day 2 & 3, guided tours as stated, services of a bilingual Galapagos naturalist guide.

Rates exclude

Entrance fee to Galapagos National Park (currently usd 100 paid on arrival the Galapagos in cash), Galapagos transit card (usd 20 paid in cash at Quito airport), drinks, tips, items of a personal nature.
