Located close to the centre of Delhi, the Vivanta by Taj Hotel is an elegant hotel built in 1945 by the colonial architect Walter. Enjoy high ceilings, lovely gardens and superb dining (there is a choice of three restaurants and Luteyn’s Lounge – ideal for relaxing after sightseeing. DAY 1

ARRIVE DELHI

Our representative will meet you at the arrivals hall at Delhi airport and escort you to the 5* Heritage Vivanta by Taj Hotel for your 3-night stay in a superior Charm View room on a room and breakfast basis.

DAY 2

DELHI

After breakfast, morning city tour of new and old Delhi passing the famous Red Fort and India Gate with visits to the Gandhi Memorial, India’s largest mosque, the red sandstone and marble Jama Masjid - completed in 1656; and Qutab Minar, at a height of 239 feet, one of the highest towers in India.

DAY 3

AGRA AND THE TAJ MAHAL

A magical day awaits as we travel by coach to Agra and visit the stunning red sandstone Agra Fort on the banks of the Jamuna River. Continue to the legendary Taj Mahal, completed in 1652 and quite rightly regarded as one of the wonders of the modern world and perhaps the greatest monument of love. After a memorable day, we return to our hotel in Delhi.

DAY 4

DELHI TO VARANASI

After breakfast checkout of the hotel, where our representative will transfer you to Delhi Airport for your included domestic flight to Varanasi.
