"Shoe cleaning after tours was very good"

Somehow adjust the bathroom door in the cabin so that it does not swing open so readily otherwise all was excellent. Shoe cleaning after tours was very good. I also appreciated the gong to inform us of meal times etc

"Safe and secure adventure"

In the early 2000s my husband and I took a Pandaw trip from Seim Reap to Vietnam and this present trip although now a widow was still up to the standard of that earlier cruise. The crew helping us aging ladies were above and beyond what I could have imagined and made my trip a safe and secure adventure. My sincere thanks Norma Beer OAM Australia.

"The service was excellent"

I would recommend this trip to anyone. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. When on shore excursions there was always someone to give you a hand on uneven ground.

"I wish I was younger and could do many more myself"

My second cruise with Pandaw and I would recommend it to anyone - I wish I was younger and could do many more myself. Could not fault anything or what to change anything. My heartfelt thanks for everything

"Only negative was the final day"

Only negative was the final day. We were assured we would reach our hotel in Chiang Mai by 200, so we had planned some things in the afternoon, while there. We also had been communicated that we would be able to say our final good-byes to other guests at lunch. Lunch was moved (and wasn't very good) and we didn't arrive to our hotel in Chiang Mai until almost 600. Due to this we cancelled plans for that afternoon. It was an amazing adventure otherwise, but the final day was poorly communicated and the guide we were provided didn't really know about the plan. The opium museum was great, but everything else could have been skipped that day.

"I think it would be nice if maybe instead of another village"

I think it would be nice if maybe instead of another village, there was one more active excursion. Somewhat like the caves and the waterfall. Not sure this is available in the area. But the last village was a little much and the children selling things was a bit aggressive. Not sure if there could be an option for a hike or something else. I know it was remote and that was part of the trip charm. The very last day. I am not sure if it was because Jimmy was trying to get one person to the Chaing Rai airport not too early but for those of us going on to Chaing Mai, it was a very late day not arriving until 530. We went to the Opium Museum which was quite interesting but then to a lunch and then the long drive to Chaing Mai. I almost feel like you should tell people if they are going to Chaing Mai they will skip the Golden Triangle and go straight there, arriving midafternoon. I had been told we would arrive between 2 and 4 and had anticipated time to spend in Chaing Mai. As it was, we got there so late, and we were exhausted so really did not get to enjoy the town.

"Greater range of asian Smorgasbord lunches"

Greater range of asian Smorgasbord lunches as we had experienced on Myanmar cruises in lieu of 3 course menus for at least lunches

"I loved the mix of offshore activities with just relaxing"

We loved it and would recommend it to most people. I loved the mix of offshore activities with just relaxing and watching the scenery go by.

"We all loved meeting with kids who were in school or playing"

The only reason that I rated the off-board excursions as 4 rather than a 5 is that in two of the villages (especially the last Hmong village) we were swarmed by small children really hard-selling souvenir items. We all loved meeting with kids who were in school or playing, sharing songs with them, etc. But having kids really pushing souvenirs on our group was tough emotionally.
