BENI HASSAN & BENI SUIF

Location for the Middle Kingdom tombs at Beni Hassan an ancient Egyptian cemetery site, located south of Minya. The necropolis of Beni Hassan reflects the political differences between the ?provinces rulers and the Pharaohs kings. Due to the layout and more complex decorations the tombs mark a transition stage in the style of the tombs from the Old Kingdom to ?the New Kingdom.
