The playful Amazon River Dolphin is a freshwater species indigenous to the rivers and lakes in Amazonia. They average about 2 metres in length and can be a range of colours, from pink, dull gray-pink, rosy colored pink, bright pink or pinkish blue. The more excited they are, the pinker they become! They make a loud blowing sound when they exhale. You will see the charming Napo River Dolphins on your Ecuadorian Amazon adventure.
